Greetings from Greenbridge Pottery on our 25th Anniversary !
May this letter find you well and successfully weathering the winds of economic change and challenge !
The year 2009 has brought the Pottery expanded marketing opportunities through refreshing the tableware inventory of Beanhollow Cafe in Ellicott City, the addition of new restaurants using our dishes (Sarah & Desmonds Vegetarian Cafe & Bakery in Ellicott City, MD & Great Sage Green Cuisine Cafe in Clarksville, MD), more barn renovation and the development of old & new pottery lines including...
- Yarn and knitting needle/crochet hook jars & bowls designed for fibers artists
- Fine dinnerware for dogs & cats in red & white stoneware/porcelain
- Acorn squash inspired pitchers
- Face vases, leaf & botanical impression pots revisited, NEW Cast iron impressionwares
- Blessings bowls & horsewares taken to a higher level
- Variations in Double Happiness, Dragonfly wares and bup styles
Field trips with the crew to the
Moravian Tile Works &
Fonthill in Doylestown, PA and the Freer & Sackler down in DC to see the Asian pottery collection fed our aesthetic hunger and challenged us to persevere as craftsmen. A vacation of kayaking and walking in the mountains of the Adirondacks of upstate New York soothed and refreshed our spirits.
Above all, we have sought to deeply enjoy life this year despite an everchanging world. We are so grateful for our family, friends, our health, freedom, and the ability to make beautiful things and be appreciated for it. We thank you all for your continuing encouragement, support and being part of our Greenbridge Family.
Warmest wishes for a blessed holiday
season & Happy New Year 2010,
Rebecca & the Crew at Greenbridge Pottery
